Ballet, Dance and Theatre Photographer
In 1990 Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet re-located to Birmingham and under the leadership of Sir Peter Wright set up home at the
with new and very modern premises adjoining the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre. Its new name - a case of wise re-branding - became known as the Birmingham Royal Ballet.
Six months prior to the move to Birmingham by this most prestigious dance company Malcolm Lewin entered the world of professional photography and immediately
embarked upon a love affair with the world of ballet and dance photography. Thousands of images have been obtained over the past twenty years, and a few can be viewed in the slideshow above - enjoy!
Birmingham photographer Malcolm Lewin also undertakes work in
commercial,
architectural,
industrial,
corporate,
portrait and related subjects in Birmingham and throughout the UK. A full listing of subjects undertaken is too long to show here so please navigate for a wider understanding of the images that can be obtained from this company.
Amongst the many commissions that have been undertaken since 1989, those most recent new clients in 2010 include No5 Chambers, Currie and Brown, Johnstone Paints, Bierrum International, Cow PR, The Queen's Foundation and others that are too numerous to list in a short introduction to this image-based business.
